Treasures From Historical NY Vital Records

Many of our ancestors arrived through the Port of New York and spent time there before venturing on to other locations. In this talk, Mona will show us the new website now available for researching the NYC Vital Records. She will show how and why these records are so important to all genealogists and how to utilize them efficiently. As in previous lectures, Mona will include stories so that we see how these records can impact your research and why they are such a treasure.

Election for the board will take place prior to the event at 11:00 am. The nominating committee information will be mailed to our existing members before December 15, 2022. Time to renew your membership! Please view our website www.jgs-miami.org.  Click MEMBERSHIP APPLICATION. Fill it out and submit it through the website.
