DESCRIPTION:Sunday\, November 17th\, 2024\, at 10:30 a.m. \n\n\n\nAt the adult reading room (Library) located in the Hub at Temple Beth Am\, \n\n\n\n5950 N Kendall Drive\, Pinecrest\, FL. \n\n\n\nEvent administered by Sunday Salon with the Jewish Genealogical Society of Greater Miami \n\n\n\nPresenting \n\n\n\nProfessor Marsha B Cohen\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAs the results of the 2024 U.S. election are analyzed\, Dr. Marsha B. Cohen looks at the implications of the presidential\, congressional and some contentious state elections for Jewish Americans.  Is there still such a thing as the “Jewish vote”? What issues seem to have mattered most to Jewish voters of both political parties? What do the election results reveal about anti-Semitism in the U.S.? What role might Jews play in the incoming administration? Will U.S. policies toward Israel change?   \n\n\n\nIn addition to our monthly Sunday Salons\, we ask you to come join us on a Tuesday or Thursday for an engaging get-together.
