DESCRIPTION:The following event is done in collaboration with the Jewish Genealogical SIG (Special Interest Group) of Naples/Lee Co. Fl \n\n\n\n\nAlex has scanned and published thousands of digital images of Ukrainian archives on various Wiki pages created and supported by him. His scanned files are being included on JewishGen and a team of volunteers are transcribing them. \n\n\n\nAlex shares the news of his projects on his Facebook page. \n\n\n\nHis cataloged Jewish records are included in the TKF (TSAL KAPLAN FOUNDATION) archive database (https://www.tkfgen.org/inventory_provinces.html) \n\n\n\nWe will begin the meeting with a conversation with Alex then we will explore the TKF database as a research tool and a method to finding and understanding scanned archival images. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nJoin us via Zoom – to get a link contact jgsgm.vpprogramming@gmail.com and specify the event of interest to you. \n\n\n\n\nMore Info
